All used engines and components are covered by a limited warranty for internal mechanical defects. This policy explains what is covered, what is excluded, and how to request service.
1. Coverage Period
Each purchased engine includes a:
• 6-month limited warranty

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
2. What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers:
• Internal mechanical defects that prevent normal function
• Major internal engine components such as
crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, camshaft, cylinder block
• Parts failure not caused by misuse, lack of fluids, or poor maintenance

If a covered defect is confirmed during inspection, Outboard Solutions will provide:
• A replacement unit of equal value or

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not include:
• Damage caused by improper installation or unqualified mechanics
• Overheating, running without proper fluids, or improper lubrication
• External components such as hoses, sensors, wires, gaskets, and belts
• Issues caused by accidents, abuse, corrosion, or environmental conditions
• Normal wear consistent with used equipment
• Labor costs, towing, liftgate services, marine haul-outs, or rentals

Flood-damaged engines or engines altered after delivery are not eligible.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To stay eligible for warranty service:
• Install the engine using a certified or professional marine technician
• Use recommended lubricants and cooling fluids
• Perform standard maintenance and keep proof of service
• Keep your invoice and delivery documentation

Failure to follow the above may void warranty coverage
5. Warranty Claim Process
To request warranty assistance:
