At Outboard Solution, we are committed to providing reliable outboard motors, marine engines, and related components. This Refund & Returns Policy explains how cancellations, returns, replacements, and refunds are handled for orders placed on our website.

All products are inspected before shipment to help ensure that items are shipped in the condition described.

Return window

Customers may request an eligible return within 30 days of delivery.

The 30-day return period begins on the day the order is marked delivered by the carrier.

Eligible returns

A return, replacement, or refund request may be considered if:

  • the request is submitted within 30 days of delivery
  • the product has a verified internal mechanical defect covered under our limited warranty
  • the wrong item was delivered
  • the item arrived materially damaged in transit, subject to review of the evidence provided
  • the item remains in substantially the same condition as delivered, without unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair
  • valid proof of purchase is provided
  • supporting evidence is submitted, including photographs or video where relevant

All return requests are subject to review and approval.

Non-returnable situations

Returns, refunds, or replacements will not be approved in cases including:

  • damage caused by incorrect installation, improper use, lack of required fluids, overheating, or mechanical abuse
  • physical damage caused after delivery
  • unauthorized disassembly, modification, repair, or replacement of parts
  • normal wear and tear, including consumable or maintenance-related components such as belts, hoses, wiring, seals, filters, or sensors
  • return requests submitted outside the 30-day return window
  • items returned without prior authorization

Change-of-mind returns

We do not accept returns for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or ordering the wrong product, unless otherwise agreed in writing before return shipment is arranged.

Our team will review the request and provide return instructions if the request is approved. Products must not be returned without prior written authorization.

Inspection of returned products

All returned products are inspected after receipt.

After inspection, one of the following resolutions may be offered where appropriate:

  • replacement product
  • full refund
  • partial refund
  • return of the item to the customer at the customer’s expense if the claim is not approved

Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

Return shipping costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is confirmed to have a verified defect covered under warranty, the wrong item was sent, or the return is otherwise approved as our responsibility.

Return shipping instructions will be provided once the return request has been approved.

Order cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before shipment for a full refund.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. After shipment, any approved return request will be handled under this policy.

  • maintain proper fluids and standard maintenance practices
